I'm excited to get started on this project that includes two of my favorite things...
painting and labs.
I have a friend ( and now client too ) who loves Labrador Retrievers...
and who doesn't? They are just about the most perfect dog.
She and her family has had a long history with this breed,
with many furry family members over the years.
She has sent me many photos,
along with stories of the special place each one holds in the hearts of this family,
and asked me to get them on canvas...
I am thrilled to!
So here's a peek into a few of the beginning layouts of this project...I'm just getting started.
And what a collection of sweet faces to work with...with names to match.

A few roughed out sketches on canvas and I'm ready to lay on some paint.
I'll be sure to post the finished paintings when I get there...

Wow! Nice job and great start! They’re all so cute! I love the one with his legs crossed. Kinga used to do that. This commission should keep you busy for some time! Good luck and keep posting updates on this project! ������
