Mobile Art App Report

Reporting in...
On how it’s been on the road and doing art with mobile art and photo apps...
SO MUCH FUN!!!

As you may remember...
I’m on the road and wanted to keep doing art everyday without
packing a lot of art supplies in my carry on bag.

So I decided to go Mobile on my iPad.
I looked into a few apps that might serve me on our trip
and was able to accomplish all I needed with just those apps.
It was also important that I could transfer my work back and forth between apps
and continue layering and adding onto my original pieces.

The opening piece and these top two were done layering photos
I already had in my photo gallery using the apps...
Photo ShopMix
DistressedFX
Erase

Note:
I haven’t included links here, they are easy enough to find in the App Store...
and I was afraid I’d loose my blog draft if I tried to link them.
😐

The three abstracts below I did using...
ArtRage
...it’s a really great drawing and painting app that offers lots of tools to work with.

The elements above were the starting points for each of the three pieces below.
Using these mobile apps on my iPad...
Photo Shop Mix
DistressedFX
PhotoLab
YouDoodle

I’m really excited to have the time on this trip to play with these apps
and learn a little more about what I can do with them.

They really are fun and a great way to try out ideas
before committing to canvas.

I’ll be blogging back in the studio next week...
and feeling more comfortable creating on my mobile devices.
I hope you’ll give digital/mobile art a try...and share some tips with us on your
experiences and favorite mobile apps.

Keep up with my daily art practices on Instagram
