Ahh...it's done...

Studio done...on to the next thing!

It seems like so long ago my studio had a bomb hit it...
in reality it was only last week...and I was the bomb!

I spent the better part of last weekend (5 days) to pull it back together, move all the furniture around and reorganize every storage space, to make it a better work and art studio and be ready to do my Zoom classes on the following week.  Now I have all 10 feet of my table to work on and plenty of room to video from two spots on my table...so roomy!  Also lots of storage below for supplies to be handy.

Along with the clean up I created an art wall with 5"x8' shelves, that will serve as a back drop to my easel while teaching online.  I can shuffle artwork around to show whatever I need for class and it also doubles as a wall to put up larger canvases to work on.

Because I spend so much time in this space I need some creature comforts...
• artwork from friends • favorite furniture pieces
• access to outdoor space and garden • lots of large windows for plenty of light
• some of my favorite furniture pieces
• a place for Joey and me to sit and contemplate art and our day ahead

This weekend...
August 15th from 11 to 4 Ashton Gallery is having an all day open house to view the new
Aquamarine Quarantine
show that went up this week

Kathy Mitchell and I will also have our studio open all day and I will be there from 12 to 2ish.
