A quick turn around + jumbled up photos

 QUICK...

because I took this project on for a customer

last minute

days before I had to head up to LA 

for the Gift Show set up...

I leave for that this morning as soon as I'm done posting this.

A full bedroom set with such a great original color

though pretty beat up 

so it needed a do over!

Large dresser + 2 night stands + vanity + headboard

totalling 17 drawers to paint

I loved the original color

and I saw this headboard on Mad Men

in Don Draper's daughters room!

I'm also crazy for Mad Men! 

I painted a quick coat of a mix of Louis Blue & Abusson Blue

then Home Plate by American Paint 

(a new chalk/clay paint on the market)

went over that and sanded through

with a touch of silver in all the right edges

 Jumbled up photos

because I had 3 days to paint and deliver this back to the customer

no time for a photo shoot on either end.

That's it...now I'm packing up my stuff and headed up to LA 

where I'll be working until July 16th
