Etsy shop cleanup...

It's time to get a grip on cleaning up after the Holidays, get everything in order, packed away and ready for a fresh start.

I've been working on my Etsy vintage hanky shop

I re listed pillows and lowered the price on most all TeardropHanky pillows.
I have ideas for new items with all the vintage handkerchiefs I've been collecting...
which is many... and need to make room.

I'm really loving little
French Lavender sachets with vintage hankies.

And then there are the Vintage hanky pillows!
I love finding new ideas to create with the quite large collection of vintage handkercheifs I've been collecting.  I seem to be stuck on...and enjoying pillows.

This one is my favorite...I love the tinge of aqua on the tulip.

I've been setting all my hankies on a neutral linen background to tone down the bright colors so popular in hankies in the 40's & 50's.  It was an inexpensive way to add color to your wardrobe.

Pink and brown together are so soft & warm I think.

A really nice little handpainted hanky set on natural linen with a print linen back and vintage button.

Adding black always crisps up the color.

And who doesn't love a little bird in the design?
A great fabric given to me by a friend and it worked perfect with these two hankies.

If you have a moment visit my Etsy shop and keep your eyes open for coming attractions there...I have a lot of hankies to work with !

And as a special note...
once I'm done with my project in LA in mid January,  I'll be putting together a free give away with one of my hanky pillows...so check back in for that.

Enjoy!
