Napkin & Kleenex Tissue Paper In Art

One of my favorite papers to use in my art is
tissue paper.

I use it whether I'm doing collage, abstract, painting...
I love the hidden design element that the printed tissues offer me.
Not to mention the transparency and texture they add.
I use paper guest towels, fancy printed napkins and kleenex.

I will say, I do stick to patterns that are non-descript if I'm using them
in a painting or piece I plan of marketing...
for copywrite reasons.

Check out this quick video below on how I do it..

Here are a few pieces that I added my very favorite
little circle print tissues to.
I LOVE that pattern...I have to force myself not to use it in every piece I do!

PS...I didn't forget that I promised last week to reveal the paintings this week
that I was working on.
I am entereing them both into a juried show tomorrow and will photograph them,
post them and let you know how that goes as soon as I know.

Until then... wishing you all the best Independence Day ever!
