Adobe Photoshop Mix

Two weeks ago...
I was posting about GOING BIG
with a few images I created using PhotoShop Mix on my iPad.

I shared with you in that post a few of the apps I used to do digital art while on vacation.
The main app I start with is PhotoShopMix...
I use it because it's easy, user friendly and so much fun.

Watch this quick video below and see just how easy.

I created the image below, blending photos from a few of my own
paintings and mono printed papers I made on a gelli plate.
I also used the Doodle Me app to add in the doodling.

I also mentioned in that post that I would reveal the results of going big...and here they are.
This one below is on a 40" x 30" x 3" gallery wrapped canvas, and while there are a few adjustments,
it came out pretty close to my initial idea.
It was pretty tricky going large...but I figured it out and was pretty happy with the results.

"Invoice Me"

This is the second design I did in PhotoShop Mix...
the same techniques as above, using photos of my own paintings blended together.

Again...the results are not quite the same as the original design...even better!
36" x 36" x 2"

Blood Money

These two,  along with the two smaller painting below are entered into a juried show titled...

Haven't heard if any of the four were accepted yet...
but I sure loved the whole process and playing with PhotoShop Mix
along with the other apps I discoverd for doing art.

Give it a try...I gaurnetee you'll love what you can do with it!

First photo & video is PhotoShop Mix art...
all other art is Denise Cerro Studio art.

    1. Thank you so much Carole! Three of the four pieces I entered were juried in by artist Brenda York...I've admired her work for years...so I'm even more honored. Though funny, my favorite piece did not get in...go figure! Using the PhotoShop Mix app is pretty fun and helps work things out on a small (iPad) canvas before you pick up the paint. Thank you for folowing along!
