Journaling

The Art Of Journaling...Journaling Art
 while sheltering in place.

This morning while I was working on clearing out my email box, I came across an email with a post from one of my favorite Instagram friends, Kelly Boler.  I must admit...I sometimes fall short on keeping up with my social media friends and what they're up to...I'm usually trying to spend my extra time painting. I thought maybe with all this time off I would be able to check in and see what everyone is up to...though it's even more of a challenge now as everyone is on posting even more with their abundance of free time...and on it goes!

I'm glad I didn't miss Kelly's post though...it reminded me how much I enjoyed journaling, before I got too busy with everything else!  It's a wonderful way to work out design ideas, experiment with different techniques and materials, and just play.

Kelly is all about journaling with wonderful papers and materials to do it with.
She also has lots of great tutorials, a shop with amazing papers and goods...
you just have to check her out...you won't be disappointed!

She also has a very cool sense of fashion that you can check out at...

I hope seeing Kelly's work gets you inspired as well.  It's an easy set up, work small and entertain yourself during these long hours / days at home.
Maybe even set up FaceTime or Skype and do it with your friends...sitting together journaling and chatting.
Remember how nice that was?

So get get something to work in...

...journal some art / thoughts/ recipes/ walks...
things that will help you remember and keep record of what you went through in this time...
or at least a wonderful distraction from it all.

Be safe, keep healthy, make some art and get lost in it.
