What is a Brave Heart?
In preparing for this project of love with my art tribe F1VE, it came to me that I wanted to represent love in its varied colors, shapes and figures. It's not just about couples in love, as many people find themselves alone at this time of year (February the month of love and Valentines Day) and while some are happy with that, many may be struggling with past hurts, loneliness, even feelings of inadequacy. While they're bombarded with images of happy couples, it's important to remember that our identity is not defined by our relationship status. A person’s worth comes from who they are, not who they are with.
Love is a truly beautiful experience...one we can be part of in an endless variety of wonderful large and tiny ways...there is more than enough love to go around! Amazingly, in the moments when we have the strength to choose love over fear, we are rewarded not only with the knowing that we have done something incredibly challenging and beautiful, but also with the gift of experiencing ourselves as love.
This Is What A Brave Heart Does
F1VEwith love is a unique, limited edition series of paintings translating hearts into art in each artist's individual style. Each artist will be creating 5 collectible paintings that will be available the week before Valentine's Day. With this series, we celebrate all things "love" and are especially excited to donate 100% of the proceeds to the charity Direct Relief.
Direct Relief is a humanitarian aid organization, active in all 50 states and more than 80 countries, with a mission to improve the health and lives of people affected by poverty or emergencies, without regard to politics, religion, or ability to pay.
Direct Relief has a four star rating on Charity Navigator and 99.4% of the charity's total expenses are spent on the services it delivers.
