Catch Up + ART2life

A Good Week  + ART2life

I'm really excited to share that this week has been a really nice ART week for me...which is especially good as we approach the one year mark of sheltering in!  Looking back over the last year here in my home studio, it seems so much has been accomplished.  I've been able to figure out how and successfully teach art classes online, have creative lesson plans each class session and create a space to help students through online critiques.  I'm also very fortunate to be part of the F1VEart group with four of my sister artists in growing our art buisness and taking part in two very successful art promotions...one of which we raised $2040 to dontate to Direct Relief for the fantastic work they do out in the world.

This week is especially nice as I've also had two of my pieces accepted into the

Sylvia White Gallery

in Augora Hills (LA County) for the upcoming realART Spring juried show! The opening piece above is "Sheltering, At Home" and "Black Birds Singing"

below that  will be headed up to LA this next week for the show ...

With this sheltered year almost behind us...I've decided to take a little ME time and get back to my art...learning, growing, moving on to the next level.  I've been in the Nicholas Wilton CVP (Creative Visionary Program) for the last two years and have learned so much...which I was reminded of this week while going through his free Art2life program as a refresh.  It convinced me I would love to carry on with the program and continue to grow with it.

If you thought you missed the free workshop, you can access it by clicking below and downloading the free PDF class materials and watch the videos until Feb 24th...you still have time!

ART2life FREE Workshop

If you already went through the ART2life workshop this week you know what a wonderful and caring teacher Nicholas Wilton is. The Creative Visionary Program (CVP) is a program I support wholeheartedly because it shifted my art and mindset in so many wonderful ways, it has made me a better artist and teacher.

So if you're up for continuing on and investing in you and your art practice...this may be the perfect next step for you and your art. CVP is a 12-week online program that Nicholas has developed to offer you a clear, sequential method for creating your best and most personal art yet. You have all year to refere back to all the material at your own pace...you will not be diappointed!

If you click below and sign up for CVP through my blog...you'll also support me in receiving credit and continuing on with my growth as an artist in this content rich,  one of a kind art program.

  1. Thanks for the info re: the CVP program, I had never heard of that. Sounds fantastic, I read all the way through the description and it's really tempting. But this is probably not the year for me as I think I very much need to get a "real" camera. Maybe in 2022 . . .
