Re post...and sale!
I love painting glass and I love painting flowers...
I really love painting!
I've been working on several commissions for clients lately,
and really enjoying it. I'm enjoying picking up brushes, mixing the oil paints on my palette,
brush strokes onto a clean canvas...the whole painting experience is so delightfully relaxing to me.
If you're a regular follower here on my blog, you know I tend to jump between
one creative media to another...excited about them all.
Lately I've been exploring collage, mixed media and assemblage art and loving every minute of it.
Though I have nine paintings I get to work on for three different clients...
so my mind is all about the mightily brush stroke right now.
It's also the beginning of the year and you know what that means...
in with the new and out with the old.
Many of these paintings are in my Etsy shop right now,
and it's time to clean shop.
So I'm offering 20% off my original paintings through the end of the month.
January 6th through January 31st.
These are three painted versions of the same mason jars.
This one below just sold last week... on it's way to Canada.
As you can see, the theme with all of the paintings posted here is glass.
I love the simplicity and the challenge of painting glass.
My art tools are often a theme in my paintings...
mainly because they're close to my easel
and I know them so well.
Below was a little flower Jim brought to me where we stayed in a beautiful Parador in Spain.
So...have a peek at my Still Life, Landscape, Abstract Art and Teardrop Paintings...
