This is what I'm talkin' bout...

I've been mentioning
(in just about all my posts)
about the extra space I'm taking on at

Before
when it was just a thought

Now...
reality hits!

As soon as I nodded my head to this extra square footage
I got to scavenging, painting, tagging, merchandising...
pull it together Denise!

Read about the new finds HERE

With the extra footage I can do two separate stories.
For now on the new front side
(full frontal is why I took on the new space)
I'm keeping it a little French(ish)
Charcoal+Aubusson Blue+Linen

Vintage silver trays painted with Chalk Paint & Chalkboard paint
for message centers.

Classic black & white check
on linen white chairs
painted over duck egg blue
and sanded just enough to show through.

With touches of black
and right around the corner...

A little beach cottage
front and center
soft blue +aqua+cream

I just had to use this vintage rose wallpaper somewhere...
it worked nicely above these warmer colors.
The focal is a set of ten cups and saucers
by Johnson Brothers.

Vintage leather top table
with script stencil...
and I always have a stock of hand painted frames.

Decoupage with post cards, marble top buffet cabinet.

Shelves are always full of
vintage and new finds.

Here's a child's chair big enough to pull up to the family table
an old window frame with a little bird fabric peeking through
sitting on a vintage painted oak buffet dressed up with birds in flight.

The newest piece(s)...
a large, solid, heavy, roomy dresser
my fave duck egg blue
stenciled wood top & doors
+
topped off  with a large, three panel folding mirror.

I'm really excited about spreading my space (and wings)!
I started out with 15 sq. ft. two years ago
and have grown into roughly 168sq. ft. at Leaping Lotus
and another 120ish sq. ft. at Urban Barn

I LOVE IT!

And working (if you love what you're doing it's not work, right)
to keep it filled up and inviting to all who stop by to visit...
