My Shades of Red

It's Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving...oh no...I have a blog to write!

Sally, My Muse

It was Love at First Sight

My teardrop trailer Sally has inspired me since I first laid eyes on her.

A lot of my creative work since then has either been because of, or about this cute little camper.

Sliding Doors

Faux finish + abstract painting

= a door like no other!

For this painting commission, I was asked to paint an abstract scene onto the sliding barn door to my client's home office.

The Great Wall

…of Painting

One of my favorite things about my new work space, is this huge wall space I can use for painting. I've mentioned it before.

Now here's an in-depth look.

Abstract Ideas…

Brought to Life.

I've just finished a major project: a large-scale abstract painting commission.

Come take a tour through the process…

Lucinda's Quilt

The surprise I was waiting for…

… without even knowing it!

"Turtle Quilt" by  Lucinda Walker

Junkology 101

…the place to find the one-of-a-kind vintage treasures

featured in my assemblage art.

As we treasure hunters know, flea markets are one of the best sources for vintage goods of all stripes.

One of my new faves in Southern California, is Driving Miz Daisy.

If you love vintage campers and bargains on the best vintage finds,
you've got to check out Driving Miz Daisy!

A Solid Foundation

Getting to the Bottom of it!

I build my assemblage pieces on all sorts of bases, substrates, and foundations.
